AudioStorm – Invisible Girl [Specific Music]

Yegor Tsarkov's Specific Music rounds out an excellent year with a brand new single from AudioStorm. The Montenegrin artist has been a fixture of the progressive house underground since making his debut in 2012. Now boasting a discography with over 400 credits, AudioStorm has showcased his music on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music and Tash's Movement Recordings. Now making his Specific Music debut AudioStorm presents his latest single 'Invisible Girl' alongside remixes from Christian Monique and Felipe Michan.

Much loved for his deep, hypnotic productions AudioStorm has crafted another sleek journey in 'Invisible Girl'. From its warm and punchy low end to an array of stunning effects there is a lot to like but it's the effortless flow and subtle evolution which is most appealing here. Not without poignant moments the main break releases some of that tonal tension with an emotive reservoir of sorts, before eventually melting down into a meditative yet trippy finale.

Returning to the label and providing the first remix is Christian Monique. The Italian artist has grown immensely this year with great music on 3rd Avenue, Bonzai Progressive and Stellar Fountain. Now ending the year in style he delivers one of his all time best remixes taking 'Invisible Girl' into pure progressive territory. The meditative qualities from the original translate really well here, making for a journey that is both hypnotic and emotive. It's reflective vibe builds through ghostly pads and an intricate arp, which come together for a string of magic moments across a wonderful eight minute journey.

Also returning to the label is Felipe Michan who provides the second and final interpretation of 'Invisible Girl'. The Argentinean artist has had an amazing year with recent releases on Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain. Now fresh off his 'Salome' EP for Specific he returns for his first remix to round out the release. A further departure from the original than Christian's, it's a mix built on robust rhythms, fluid chord stabs and a vibrant tonal theme. The percussion is nicely detailed with a variety of timely fills and drops for what results in a hugely energetic peak time bomb. A massive remix from Felipe to cap off the release and leads us into 2019 wanting to hear from this talented artist. A great release for Specific Music once again who had their best year to date no doubt setting up an even better 2019.
