Gideon Homes showcases the 90’s Techno Scene in Return To Planet Underground

4 min read

After the release of Trainspotting (1996) that came from a collaboration from a Dutch corporate company and a UK based film production company who wanted to penetrate the feature film market by making bottom up products instead of the top down approach from Hollywood. This approach inspired Gideon Homes late 90’s to make a movie about the Underground Techno scene which flourished then. In 2020 the production from this idea started when a script came to life, giving a deeper and pluriform look at the meaning of underground. Although there was some legal push back because the story is inspired by true events and contains controversial subjects it was finally completed in 2023.
