Releases Kamilo Sanclemente – Anthe [SoulArt Records] By Release Promo Posted on 9th December 2017 0 second read 0 2 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin SoulArt Recordings returns for their final release of the year with a brand new single from Kamilo Sanclemente. The Colombian artist has been one of the hottest names in progressive house this year with undying support form Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren along with Beatport chart success. Now making his much anticipated debut for SoulArt Kamilo presents his latest studio work ‘Anthe’ alongside remixes from Alfonso Muchacho, Golan Zocher, Matias Chilano and SNYL. The original mix leads the release off and proves to be one of Kamilo’s best. For someone that has already shot to stardom in the genre he still continually improves from release to release. Pumping, anthemic and epic, it’s a captivating and hugely energetic journey from start to finish. The airy melodies are emotive but not overbearing and the break dials everything down for that magic dance floor moment. A monster tune from Kamilo. First up on the remixes Alfonso Muchacho provides a great complement to the original with a slightly deeper yet no less emotive take. The groove opens up nicely and the atmospheric storyboard is quite lovely. Not without dramatic moments, the break shifts the narrative with a wave of cinematic tension before ultimately bringing the groove back for a storming finish. Next up is Golan Zocher who you sometimes see as Kamilo’s studio partner. Here he provides a massive interpretation that doesn’t drift from the progressive stylings of the original too much but certainly delivers a massive build and mean drop, perhaps the biggest on the release in fact. Definitely one for a peak time dance floor. Another heavyweight remixer by the name of Matias Chilano is next which closely follows his releases on Juicebox Music and Sound Avenue. The Argentine's deep, atmospheric sound is always sought after in the progressive underground and he's delivered another beauty here. Matias has used the melodic elements sparingly while his strong groove carries the piece. The thing I like most about the mix is the clap, sounds nice and modern. Great remix from Matias. The release concludes with SNYL which is a new alias for Reelaux who most diehard progressive house fans are familiar with. The Hungarian artist showcases a deeper sound with the new moniker as rolling grooves and floatly atmospheres carry the seven minute journey. Most likely the dubbiest of all the mixes it's a great addition to the release and sets a high precedent for the new alias moving forward. SoulArt had a great first year and this release certainly caps it off in style. Looking forward to see what they do in 2018.
