Various Artists – Summer Sol XI [Sol Selectas]

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas presents the eleventh edition of its revered Summer Sol compilation, which each year, gathers tracks from around the world. Focusing mainly on organic house, this dynamic compilation also includes genres such as downtempo, Afro house, and indie dance.

Sol Selectas' roster is a family bound by their shared passion for music, and 19 of the artists have featured on previous releases by the record label, including Tooker, Mutual, Cereus, Mark Alow, Shan Nash, Sound of Mint, Envoy (GR), Stark (GR), Yemanjo, Adam Alydrus, Yaku Means Water, Omaro, OSABA, N810, Yassine H, Dj Phellix, Ablozé,  Khashayar Salehi, DOT (BR), Special K (SY), Beard2Beard, Omar Alkilani, Bensh, Frank Salassi, Orkidz, Hot Oasis, G.O.D.A., Matur, Giovanny Aparicio, Arbey Gonzales, Ohm-G, Kaan Koray, STRANGESONIC, Linear, Serkan Eles, A X L, Gaff, Evan Hatfield, and Sabo himself. This compilation series also embraces new talent and gives artists what will likely become their first of many Sol Selectas releases.

Summer Sol XI features 27 tracks by artists from countries including Turkey, Spain, United States, Egypt, United Kingdom, Morocco, Colombia, Brazil, Tunisia, UAE, Estonia, Russia, Netherlands, Mexico, Iran, Poland, India, Greece, Indonesia, Germany, and more.

The release is an audio embodiment of the summer, painting sonic images of tropical oasis, sun-drenched beaches, and poolside parties. Not only does Summer Sol XI warm our hearts, but it also embraces global diversity. No matter what a country's average population looks like, or what their culture is, we all share the same sun, and its rays shine without prejudice or judgment. This is a sentiment shared by Sol Selectas.

Each of the tracks on Summer Sol XI has been hand selected by Sabo, and road tested in his DJ sets to ensure they light up the dance floor. From the first track to the last, it's a global journey, which if it's anything like the previous Summer Sol editions, will find its way to the top of Beatport's sales charts.

Combining ancient melodies and folklore from around the world, with contemporary electronic sounds, this magical release has deep atmosphere, organic sounds, and energising percussion.

The artwork by HELIA JAMALI circumnavigates this solar dream world of sound, drifting with intention, and following a current of positivity.
