Lonya – Righteousness Remixes [Asymmetric Recordings]

Asymmetric Recordings returns this week showcasing new interpretations of Lonya's 'Righteousness'. Originally released in April of this year with a remix from Wally Lopez it proved to be one of the labels best sellings projects. Now as the year comes to a close Asymmetric revisits the track with brand new remixes from Vamos Art, Denny Loco and Just Hear.

First up Vamos Art makes their label debut following strong releases on Superdub and Straight Ahead Music. Hailing from Stuttgart their sound is distinctly German with neatly tailored production and fluid energy. The warm, perfectly contoured bassline shapes the journey as waves of effects and a fiery arp lead to an emotive main theme. Definitely one for a peak time dance floor and perhaps the biggest remix of the German duos career.

The second interpretation is provided by Denny Loco who returns to the label for his ninth appearance. The Italian artist strips the production down for a more techno inspired take which complements the Vamos Art mix perfectly. Buzzing with an effervescent energy the mix moves through clustered percussion, astral effects and waves of cinematic swells for satisfying seven minute journey.

The third and final interpretation is provided by Just Hear who progressive house fans may also know as Ri Za. Under this cleverly coined moniker the Slovakian artist follows more of a techno / tech house sensibility, always presenting a fresh approach. His interpretation of ‘Righteousness’ is no different with a wonky rhythmic swing and intensely twisted break that’s sure to melt your dance floor. Very fresh stuff from Just Hear which caps off a well rounded remix package for Lonya and Asymmetric Recordings. Highly Recommended.
