Paul Thomas is a globally respected DJ and producer whose catalogue of influential releases and remixes has firmly established him as a key figure in contemporary progressive music. As label head at UV & UV Noir Records, he has overseen a steady run of standout releases that have become regular go-to selections for DJs across the spectrum.

Paul recently launched a new YouTube vodcast, Underground Live Forever, streaming from Armada Studios in Amsterdam.

1. GMJ - Unwalled [Meanwhile]

Wonderfully hypnotic from Gavin on his Meanwhile label. There’s tracks that just lock you into your own little world on a dance floor and this is one of them. Probably my favourite track of 2026 so far.

2. Miro - Paradise (Quivver Remix) [UV]

I knew this was going to be big as soon as John sent me the first demo - but wasn’t expecting it to be such a massive hit. It’s been in the Beatport top 10 for 2 months now. Such a great take on the legendary Hooj release. I love the way John re-created and re-delivered the chords in this. We only had the vocal for Miro to work with on this remix so he had to get creative!

3. Alex O’Rion - Atlas [Sudbeat]

An absolute banger from Alex. It doesn’t matter what he touches, whether it’s his deeper, tripped out vibes, his more ‘rabbithole’ stuff with a darker twist, or something more peak time like Atlas, I just know I’’m going to love it before I even listen.

4. John Creamer & Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here (Paul Thomas Remix) [UV]

This was the our first Retrospection release, and also featured on the first episode of ULF. One of my all time favourite prog tracks so I thought it would be an ideal one to start the series. This got a lot of love from Sasha which brought back a lot of memories from back in the day.

5. GMJ & Matter - Shelter of Hearts [Solis]

Episode 5 of ULF has been one of my favourite so far, when Alex O’Rion, GMJ & Matter joined us in the studio for a special Meanwhile & Solis showcase. They closed with this, one of the earlier releases on Alex’s Solis label. Such a beautiful track full of subtle yet raw emotion.

6. Maze 28 - Leave The World Behind [Mango Alley]

We featured Maze 28’s debut artist album on ULF006. I feel this album was a real turning point in Mario’s career, from the peak time, aggressive prog sound he was doing, to a more melodic, textured sound that is epitomised by this track. Released on Mango Alley who have been a wonderful supporter of Underground Live Forever in these first few months.

7. Markus Schulz Pres Dakota - Faultline (Das Pharaoh Remix) [UV]

Such a big remix from Fadi. Markus has been a great supporter of UV over the years and it was great of him to give us the rights to this remix. Fadi has a very unique sound, very fresh and interesting arrangement.

8. Paul Thomas - Jumbo (Jamie Stevens Remix) [UV]

The original was championed by Hernan Cattaneo and the legend has been hammering this remix for the last couple of months too. Always in awe of Jamie’s work and it’s a pleasure to finally have him on UV.

9. Guy J - Worlds Apart [Early Morning]

I’m always thankful of the amazing artists and labels who has supported ULF, and Guy J & Early Morning have been one of them. No top 10 progressive list can be without Guy J can it? A track that shows Guy is actually worlds apart from anyone else.

10. Das Pharaoh & Tiefstone - Endless Summer [UV]

I keep telling Fadi this is the best thing he's ever done. Such a beautiful warm vibe, everything marries perfectly, whether it’s the filtered arp, the sporadic one shots, the more hypnotic loops or the wonderful old school proggy chords in the break. It’s such an underrated track.
