Weekend Heroes & MOB ft. Tchaveck – Zero [HIGARA]

HIGARA returns with label heads Weekend Heroes collaborating with MOB and Tchaveck for a new single. Having launched the label in August with the well received 'Pray', the much loved Israeli duo now look to further that momentum with 'Zero' alongside a remix from Dimitri Nakov.

Enlisting the talents of MOB, it's the trio's masterstroke to introduce the sublime vocals of Tchaveck. Providing equal amounts of soul, emotion and mystery, the vocal narrative is spectacular and the surroundings perfectly complement those fine traits. Tough yet cosmic, it's spacious drive and subtle musicality allows space for Tchaveck's magic while providing just enough tension and unpredictability for a hugely satisfying seven minute journey.

Providing the lone interpretation of 'Zero' is Dimitri Nakov who makes his label debut. The Ibiza resident is much loved for his past productions on Bedrock, Sudbeat and Selador. Always a creative remixer, Dimitri has brought a tripper, more percussive vibe to the track which sits as a nice complement to the original. The vocal gets dubbed down into tasteful fragments which not only highlight the break but elevate mood for a percussive finale. Perhaps best suited to the less vocally inclined DJs out there, it rounds out an excellent second offering for HIGARA in style. Highly recommended.
