Guy J's Lost & Found unveils new interpretations of the label's back catalog on the aptly titled 'The Lost Remixes' EP. The Israeli imprint has released an assortment of memorable musical gems over the course of it's seven year journey. In addition to being the primary home for it's beloved label boss, Lost & Found has also been a comfortable landing spot some of progressive music's brightest stars in Chicola, Cid Inc, Eli Nissan, Guy Mantzur, Khen, Luka Sambe, Navar and Sahar Z. Now as 2019 enters it's final quarter the label takes a look back, inviting Cid Inc, Khen, LADS and Navar to reimagine past creations from Kasper Koman, Marino Canal, Eli Nissan and Hermanez respectively.

Fresh off the release of his chart topping 'Ten' collaboration with Orsen, Cid Inc takes the deeper vibes of Kasper Koman's 'Hi' closer to a peak time dance floor. Following a DJ friendly intro the piece builds in methodical fashion with chunky bass stabs, luminous overlays and a strong rhythmic core. Sitting firmly in the pure progressive realm it’s energy is undeniable, building momentum with each successive loop, before the second of two breaks melts down to a reservoir of fragmented melodies and hazy harmonics, ultimately highlighting the piece before a charming build ignites a chugging finale. Similarly, Khen comes off an equally large collaborative project with fellow country man Guy Mantzur for Bedrock Records, now landing back on Lost & Found with a stunning rendition of Marino Canal's 'The Endless Fall'. Built around a free flowing melodic storyboard, the Tel Aviv resident combines vocal fragments, tranquil arps and exotic drums with haunting atmospherics and harmonic refrains. Emotive and timeless in equal measure, it makes for a charming eight minute journey and perhaps one of Khen's most creative remixes to date.

Next up and making their label debut is LADS. Hailing from Germany and South Africa respectively the duo has a meticulous discography highlighted by releases on Magician on Duty, Nie Wieder Schlafen and Rebellion Der Traumer where their intricate yet dreamy sound has flourished. Now making their first appearance on Lost & Found LADS take Eli Nissan's 'Arpu' into heavenly territory. From stripped beginnings comes elegant atmospheres and redolent shades, slowly descending over dulcet beats and organic drums. As the narrative evolves so too does its emotive appeal, with luminous tones trailing over the framework, before a sentimental break smoothly segues into a resilient yet dreamy final act. Rounding out the release is Navar who returns following a contribution to Hernan Cattaneo's Balance compilation. Through releasing material on Lost & Found and microCastle, the Dutch artist emerged in 2014, firmly establishing himself in the world of melodic house. His unique approach to composition is highly regarded and continues to be a favourite of the world’s largest DJs, including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Always a creative remixer, Navar takes Hermanez's 'Back In Nefenro' into his world of organic design and unconventional melodic concepts. With free flowing aesthetics and attention to detail at a premium, this is a version that will not only stand the test of time but get better with each successive listen. Quirky and groovy in all the right ways, it's got an air of unpredictability and yet remains buoyant enough to satisfy even the most discerning of dance floors. It caps off a well rounded remix edition for Guy J's Lost & Found, bringing new life to four of the label's most memorable tracks. Highly recommended.
