Releases Tali Muss & Esphyr – Between the Lines [Transpecta] By Release Promo Posted on 19th June 2019 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin The latest release from Transpecta finds Tali Muss and Esphyr collaborating on a brand new single 'Between The Lines'. Having previously delivered the well received 'Rain' and 'Know Me Better' in December of 2017, the duo now present their latest and most anticipated work to date alongside remixes from the perpetually hot Stan Kolev. Beginning with the tight, punchy beats and detailed design of the original mix it’s clear the duo is operating at their creative peak. Fresh and dramatic across it’s near eight minute journey, it’s a sensory delight full of welcoming dance floor dynamics. As mounds of bass undulate, emotive stabs add a mystical vibe, before gorgeous vocal elements further the narrative through silky meanderings. Building subtly, the beauty lies in the break, classy in execution and undeniably symphonic, as clustered drums and soulful instrumentation converge in a perfect sonic marriage. And for the less vocally inclined the duo have also included a dub which carries all the emotive qualities of the original. The lone interpretation of ‘Between the Lines’ is provided by Stan Kolev who returns to Transpecta following remixes for Afterglow and UV. The Bulgarian artist lays claim to an extensive discography dating back to 2005. Appearances on Armada, Blackhole and Spinnin laid the groundwork for what has been an incredible career. More recently Stan has been dominating Beatport’s Progressive House charts with a string of outings on Beatfreak, Movement Recordings his own Outta Limits imprint. Here he provides a fresh take on ‘Between The Lines’, with a more open and peak time approach. Fluid and crunchy in equal measure, it’s a mix that drifts away from the emotive themes in the original just a touch, while adding an ethereal vibe through unique design and wonderfully reprocessed vocals. Tension and drama come in waves as timely drops and clever transitions make for several dynamic moments leading into the break. The centrepiece furthers the storyboard as it’s cinematic air builds anticipation while the vocals cut through the atmosphere for goosebump worthy moments. A stunning remix from Stan which much like the original is also available as a dub for the less vocally inclined DJs out there. It rounds out a top notch package for Transpecta who are most certainly back as the summer season is about to begin. Highly recommended.
