Dmitry Molosh – Wanderer (Remix Edition) [Superordinate Music]

Superordinate Music returns this week presenting new interpretations of ‘Wanderer’ by Dmitry Molosh. As one of the labels all time best selling releases it now comes back in a major way with new renditions from Roger Martinez and Matteo Monero.

Leading the release off is Roger Martinez who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Dutch artist first appeared on the UK imprint with a remix of Stas Drive in February of 2016. Now following a strong EP on Flow Vinyl Roger ends the year off with a great remix of ‘Wanderer’. The detail of the Dutch artist’s productions is always quite remarkable and it’s on full display here with astral effects, funky rhythms and a spacious groove with carries it’s smooth cadence perfectly.

The second and final interpretation of ‘Wanderer’ is provided by Matteo Monero who makes his fourth appearance on the label. Fresh off releases on Massive Harmony Records and Welcome Music the Italian artist ups the tempo a touch for an old school take on the track. Icy pads make for a melancholic vibe throughout, while the spacey lead theme combined with a deep, chugging groove provides a smooth, meditative storyboard.

Two outstanding remixes with Roger again delivering top quality work, definitely my fave on the release. Don’t miss it.
