Although early in his career the São Paulo native has already appeared on one of Mexico's premiere imprints Tenamapa Records as well BQ Recordings and Prisma Techno. Now based in Campinas, Andre follows up a contribution to Phantacid's 'Harmonic Fields' compilation with a much anticipated three track EP for Soundteller Records. Beginning with the title selection Andre explores his love for all things progressive and techno. Built around a warm, engaging groove it’s the astral motifs which eventually grab a hold of you. Smooth yet exhilarating, delicate arps and cosmic effects lead you to euphoric synth swells which ultimately initiate the main break. Almost trance-like in a way, the grandiose appeal is high and it's pulled off wonderfully, with a slight cinematic nod before the groove resurfaces for a stellar finale. The second selection ‘Space Solution’ is not only aptly titled but continues the ethos of the EP perfectly. Its warm, punchy beats and robust groove command a big presence at the outset, before meditative themes and glowing synths quickly take you into hypnotic territory. Timely modulation works perfectly during a kaleidoscopic break, adding just enough tension to offset the chord changes for moments of drama and exhilaration. The release is rounded out in fine style with 'Valley of Rustles' which might be the most emotive of the three. Once again bursting with positive vibes, it's chunky groove offers a touch more space than it's predecessors, while harmonic drifts play off the poignant motifs, eventually reaching an emotive apex during the break, perfectly paving the way for an exhilarating finale. It rounds out three stunning tracks from Andre who is certainly an artist the progressive house scene is going to be hearing a lot more about in the future.
