Various Artists – Transenses II [Transensations]

The latest release on Transensations finds the label presenting the second installment of it's 'Transenses' series. Released in October of last year, the inaugural edition served to celebrate the label's two year anniversary, while showcasing some of Brazil's finest progressive house and melodic techno talent. Over the last calendar year the label has continued to grow and evolve, finding a foothold not only in the Brazilian scene but globally as well. Key artist additions such as Kamilo Sanclemente and Weird Sounding Dude have brought further support from progressive music's top tier tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now celebrating their three year anniversary the label presents the much anticipated 'Transenses II'. Although firmly rooted in progressive house, the label does branch off into the melodic house and techno world at times and this release is a unique and hugely successful amalgamation of those genres. Featured on the collection, in order of appearance are: Tonaco, Matheus Castro, Saturn Keys, Gorkiz & Pedrada, Lelio Monte, Montw, Francisco Castro, RAFFA (BR), Sinan Arsan, Gaston Sosa, Renan Marchetti, Moril, Lusii, Marematu, Axel Zambrano and David Torres. A sprawling selection of music, which not only celebrates the label's third birthday but sets the course for an auspicious forth year. Highly recommended.
