The latest release from Massive Harmony Records welcomes Stan Seba back to the label for a new single. The Korean artist has found a comfortable home on the Argentinean imprint since making his debut in 2014. Now seven years on and Stan has delivered six originals and four remixes for the long standing progressive imprint. Also showcasing his work via Another Life and Stellar Fountain, Stan now returns to Massive Harmony with 'Empty Seat' alongside remixes from Li-Polymer, Facundo Sosa and Rick Tedesco & Mariion Christiian.

The original mix kicks the release off with a deep and musical quality. It’s lazy cadence is nicely accentuated with exotic drums, fuzzy tonal textures and a blanket of glowing atmospheres. Wispy vocal fragments and smooth chord changes further the storyboard, leading to a tranquil break highlighted by cascading motifs, perfectly setting up a heavenly finale.

First up on the remixes is Li-Polymer who returns to the label for his third appearance. As Portugal's premiere progressive house talent, Li-Polymer continues to create a surreal, percussive sound that is all his own, furthered evidenced here with a stunning rendition of 'Empty Seat'. Aptly titled 'Heaven' Mix, he works elegant atmospheres and redolent shades over dulcet beats and organic drums. Radically remodelled and a compelling listen from start to finish, it's all about the detail and there is an abundance of that to get truly lost in.

Next up Facundo Sosa sticks a bit closer to the vibe of the original while adding a more progressive state of mind. The groove gets reworked into something fuller and more driving while still keeping the tone of the mix on the deeper side. Clustered piano's and choppy percussion add mightily to the atmospheric storyboard as a tranquil arp builds elegantly towards a gorgeous apex.

Rounding out the release are frequent studio partners Rick Tedesco & Mariion Christiian. Although known more for their breakbeat creations the duo opt for a traditional progressive mix here. Carrying the largest presence of the four versions, it's warm low end flows through emotive chord changes while impassioned vocals and wispy effects drift through the framework, before eventually peaking with a gorgeous wall of sound and colour. Nostalgic and heartfelt in equal measure, it rounds out another great release for Massive Harmony Records, one which sees Stan Seba return for a memorable new single. Highly recommended.
