The imprint has been long overdue for Fernando who has remained one of Argentina’s most popular DJs for the last decade. ‘Dreamers’ promises to be one of 2018’s best new progressive house imprints and it’s first offering certainly foreshadows what’s to come. Much like label boss Fernando, Sebastian Busto is loved in his homeland of Argentina. Upon starting his career in late 2014 he’s gone on to become a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and has appeared on a long list of impressive imprints, including Balkan Connection, MNL and Sound Avenue. His ‘Travelling’ EP would have to be considering his most melodic work to date and it begins the title track. It’s chugging groove provides a warm, contoured foundation for the beaming melodies to work their magic. Uniquely interwoven motifs mesh with soulful strums for the ultimate feel good, cosmic experience. The EP’s second selection ‘Moments’ follows suit with it’s classic old school sound, highlighted by smooth chord changes and powerful percussion. An epic first act sets up a poignant, mildly cinematic break where the narrative shifts from energetic to grandiose. A magical moment which flows perfectly into a rousing finale. The release concludes with the slightly deeper ‘Heathrow’ which adds a reflective tone to the release. Smooth vocal phrases set up a soft and moderately trance inspired lead theme before a timely break keeps the rhythmic flow, building towards a heavenly finale. Three stunning tracks from Sebastian which should not only find favour with a broad range of progressive house DJs but also put Fernando Ferreyra’s ‘Dreamers’ imprint at the top of their new labels list.
