The French artist and RPO Records label boss last appeared on the storied imprint in June of this year with a remix of Jonatan Ramonda's 'Clash of the Souls'. Now returning to the label for his first original music in over two years Rick presents his latest single entitled 'Golden Path'. Spread out over two versions 'Golden Path' encompasses what progressive house fans love about Rick's inimitable style. Part 1 is perfectly suited for peak time play with its electric groove and memorable melodic moments. Driving and full of wicked effects it flows through crunchy rhythms and rugged stabs before eventually giving way to a delicate melodic section that steals the show. Meanwhile Part 2 lowers the tempo and goes for a deeper, groovier approach. It's chunky foundation is immediately appealing, playing off a strong rhythmic core and cosmic effects. Waves of atmosphere bring an ethereal vibe, leading to a stripped down middle section, perfectly setting up a more melodious yet groovy finale.
