The Polish artist lays claim to releases on John OO Fleming’s JOOF Recordings, Movement Recordings and Sound Avenue, while also gaining considerable acclaim for his collaborative project Fluente, in conjunction with fellow countryman and Electronic Tree boss Tuxedo. Together the duo have showcased their work on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound. Now following remixes for PHW Elements and Spring Tube Limited, Monojoke presents his Mirabilis debut 'Texturize'. Beginning the with title cut Monojoke explores more of his effervescent progressive sound. It's long been a trademark design profile for the Polish artist and one that still remains unique to him. It's energetic, astral beginnings become immediately captivating as an array of wispy atmospherics and tranquil arps create an air of anticipation. Warm, dreamy overlays soon follow and you’re effortlessly taken away into a melodic wonderland. Subtle yet powerful, it’s euphoric theme highlights the break, playing off smooth chord changes and buzzing modulation for a string of magic moments, before seguing into an exhilarating third act finale. The companion piece 'Remorse' follows suit with more elite level progressive music. Anchored by a warm, well carved groove and firing percussion, there’s a lively mood from the outset. As drifting atmospheres descend over the framework, sweeping effects and electric motifs tantalize the senses. Anticipation unfolds as the main break progresses with phasing noise, timely modulation and perfectly sculpted hooks uniting for an ultrasonic apex as energy shifts into a magical conclusion.
