Releases MiraculuM – Wormhole [Soundteller Recordings] By Release Promo Posted on 27th May 2017 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Deersky's Soundteller Records returns this week with a brand new single from MiraculuM. The Hungarian artist and Stellar Fountain label boss is making his fifth appearance on the Polish imprint which follows his 'Undelivered' single from September of last year. A remix for K Nass' Northern Lights Music and a single for Spring Tube has made for a strong start to 2017 which now sets the stage for MiraculuM's most anticipated single to date 'Wormhole'. It's always a treat for me when I see a new MiraculuM single simply because I know it's going to something creative with very cool design qualities. 'Wormhole' begins unassumingly enough with a wobbly groove and firing percussion. Intensity starts to rise with spacey electronics and acid stabs before a short drop initiates a more distinctive lead theme. By the four and a half minute mark you feel like you've been transported into an astral matrix of sorts with delightful modulation building tension and carrying into the main break. A stripped back drop pulls all your focus into the groove as it should before a dazzling sonic shower takes you home. Wonderful stuff from MiraculuM as always and at ten plus minutes there's a great journey to be had here. Deersky definitely has his finger on the pulse of the progressive house underground as the remixer selection brings two of the hottest talents at the moment in Be Morais and Nicolas Rada. First up is Brazilian artist and Not Another label boss Be Morais who is making his label debut. I think people really started to take notice of his talent with a remix of Stas Drive on Keep Thinking and he's since appeared on Dear Deer and Perspectives Digital. With all the amazing sounds in 'Wormhole' I would say he's a great choice to remix it and would expect something quite cosmic to come out of it. The strength of the groove grabs your attention right away; very rough, rugged and full of great character while the main elements have been chopped and reprocessed to perfection. It's stripped back nature makes it a better option for the dance floor most likely but it's spooky, ethereal qualities are perhaps what's most appealing. Killer remix from Be Morais. The release concludes with Soundteller label artist Nicolas Rada returning for his sixth appearance. The Argentinean artist got his start on Nicholas Van Orton's Balkan Connection South America in 2009 and he's been perfecting his groovy, percussive sound ever since. Now a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and also a staple in Beatport's Progressive House charts Nicolas has become a firm fixture of the Soundteller artist roster. He's taken 'Wormhole' into chuggy, progressive house territory and closed the release out with a great remix. Nicolas is certainly conscious of the dance floor and it shows here with a very strong foundation and percussive cadence. It's comes off quite ominous with those great elements from the original all blanketed with spooky pads. Additional vocal elements add nicely to the narrative in a very tripped out and nicely dialled back third act finale. Definitely a dance floor bomb in the making and a massive way to close the release. Brilliant stuff from Deersky's Soundteller Records with three complementary versions that all find their own sonic space. Highly Recommended.
