Releases MiraculuM – Lush Garden [Slideways Music] By Release Promo Posted on 12th August 2017 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Tim Penner's Slideways Music returns this week by welcoming MiraculuM to the label for his debut EP. The Hungarian artist and Stellar Fountain label boss has long been a favourite of mine and his unique sound seems perfect for the Slideways ethos. Fresh off singles for Balkan Connection and Soundteller Records, MiraculuM now presents his first EP project for Slideways entitled 'Lush Garden'. It's easy to get lost in MiraculuM tracks and the title cut is definitely one of those. Full of intricately woven percussion, evolving atmospheres and quirky synth motifs it's an immediate delight for the senses. The organic quality of the production can't be overstated, very pleasing to the ear and thus a great listen. I love how it breaks down into delicate, gleaming clusters before slowly melting away as the warm groove returns. It's quite a magical moment and overall one of the feel good tracks of the summer I would say. The companion piece 'Medusa' comes in deeper, darker and equally brilliant. There's something very mystical about this one, beginning with its textural drifts, subterranean groove and radiant atmospheres. There's a tone set early which evolves into something quite lovely as a set of chord changes flows through the low end, only to be heightened by an electricity beaming within. Most MiraculuM tracks present a very distinctive theme and I think it's easy to get caught up in thinking you have to do that but here he's left a little something to the imagination; something deeper, lurking under the surface of those buzzing synths. A magical track and when paired with 'Lush Garden' might be his most satisfying release date. Highly Recommended.
