Originally released as part of Nick Warren's Renaissance Masters Series in 2013, the track sat nicely as the second to last piece on the club oriented disk and would prove to be one of the Hungarian's most successful and note worthy productions. Now, over a decade later, Stellar Fountain looks to breathe new life into the classic by inviting Erich Von Kollar, Drekaan and Tomas Gerd to re-imagine the track in their own essence. Stellar Fountain co-founder Erich Von Kollar is first up and although we don't see as many productions from the Hungarian as we used to he still proves to be at the top of his game here. The delicate melodic essence which made the original so distinctive is well maintained, but with a club oriented framework which opens it up for more DJs to take advantage of, and while the overall sentiment is dreamy surrealism, Erich's rolling rhythms and emerging atmospheric refrains which dormmate the second act are worth the price of admission alone. Next up is Drekaan who returns to the label following his remix of Christopher Hermann's 'Cazibe' from September of last year. The Hungarian adds nicely to Erich's club oriented version with a sleek hypnotic rendition which is full of nostalgic overtones and a glowing calm which carries the track to a colourful pixelated finale. Rounding out the release is Tomas Gerd who makes his label debut following a string of releases for Flug Lab to begin his career. The rising Argentine delivers more of a progressive tinged interpretation here, one which carries a calming vibe similar to the original, until the main break where a nicely timed drum build unites with soaring strings for a gorgeous crescendo, an impactful moment and one which sparks a finale of chugging grooves and creamy tones to cap off the release on a classy note.
