Releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Musique de Lune, and his own Secret Feelings imprint have been instrumental in showcasing the Barcelona's resident's borderless approach to production, in turn garnering support from Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger and Nick Warren, amongst others. Also an accomplished DJ, JFR has travelled the world, performing alongside a wide assortment of international talents. Currently in the process of unveiling a string of unreleased projects which have been staples in his sets across recent years, JFR now returns to his Secret Feelings imprint with the organic offering 'Jotark', alongside a remix from Ignacio Berardi. Beginning with the Original Mix, JFR showcases a contemporary approach which sets the tone for the release. Full of wavy arpeggiated sequences and cross-cultural overtones, JFR's full creative power is on full display here, as he manages to capture another unique and engaging mood, one which continues to build and evolve with an air of unpredictability, ultimately reaching a place of organic/oriental bliss. Making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Jotrak' is Ignacio Berardi who arrives to Secret Feelings on the strength of projects for AH Digital and The Soundgarden. The Rosario resident offers an even greater organic lean to the track, with a tighter percussive framework providing the backbone for an expertly re-arranged and re-processed take on the lead elements, one which not only proves to be captivating and danceable, but offers a more subversive mood overall to round out the release in style.
