Haus On Fire – Awaken [Provider Music]

The much anticipated launch of Provider Music showcases Haus On Fire's 'Awaken' alongside a remix from Robert Babicz. Based in Poland and conceptualized by Soundteller Records owners Deersky and Synthie, the imprint will act as a companion to it's more progressive oriented counterpart. With an ethos sitting closer to melodic techno and tech house, Provider Music will play host to some of the scenes most revered artists as well as nurturing up and coming talent. The label's inaugural release finds hotly tipped UK producer Haus On Fire presenting his much anticipated debut single 'Awaken'.

With releases forthcoming on Armada's Subjekt imprint Haus On Fire will be much talked about as 2019 evolves and he's certainly sparked everyone's interest with 'Awaken'. Undeniably peak time, it's a unique production which sucks you into it's fiery energy. Punchy and deliberate at moments, yet free and flowing at others, it’s an esoteric contrast and one which catchy vocal hooks and tightly wound arps add a perfect balance too. The lone interpretation of 'Awaken' is provided by Robert Babicz. The Polish born Malta based producer has been one of the most influential artists over the course of his long and storied career. Robert’s discography is full of impeccably produced classics like ‘Dark Flower’ and ‘Remote Kiss’, along with many others which all stand the test of time remarkable well. He’s updated some of electronic music’s most revered classic’s like Hardfloor ‘Acperience 1′ and Cybordelics ‘Adventures of Dama’ which both appeared on Harthouse over 20 years ago. More recently Robert has several stellar productions released courtesy of John Digweed's Bedrock Records, Systematic and his own Babiczstyle imprint. Now debuting on Provider Music he delivers a stunning rendition of 'Awaken' to round the release out in style. Opting for a smoother, more fluid feel, Robert has created an engaging storyboard which not only puts you in a state of hypnotic bliss but perfectly sets up a well crafted break. Melting down to an effervescent sizzle, the centrepiece then smoothly shifts energy into a pulsating finale, where indistinct vocals and electric lines unite in a perfect sonic marriage. A stunning remix from one of the scene's most revered talents. It caps off an auspicious beginning for Provider Music, pointing to a future which holds much promise, excitement and many fine musical moments, so make sure you're along for the ride.
