Emi Galvan – Leave [Just Movement]

The 51st release on Just Movement welcomes Emi Galvan to the label for his debut single. The Argentinean artist had a sensational 2017, highlighted by releases on ICONYC, MNL and Movement Recordings. Now getting 2018 off to a fresh start Emi presents his first single for Just Movement alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente and N’Pot.

Known for unique musicality and dance floor minded grooves, Emi presents his most sought after single to date in 'Leave'. On a backbone of tough kicks and rolling bass comes fiery percussion and trailing vocals. Sweeping motifs and timely chord changes light up the first act before transitioning into a section of infectious vocal edits. The break presents the main melodic theme, chaotic yet exhilarating, playing off the complementary elements perfectly before a storming finale.

The first interpretation of ‘Leave’ is provided by Kamilo Sanclemente who is making his debut on the label. Boasting a meticulous discography, Kamilo has showcased his music on Einmusika, Manual Music and Perspectives Digital, earning a bevy of A-list DJ support as a result. A constant in Beatport’s progressive house charts Kamilo now kicks off 2018 with a stunning interpretation of ‘Leave’. Staying quite true to the main themes from the original, Kamilo adds funk to the groove for some extra impact on the dance floor. The highlight though is an astral break, flowing through tasteful yet tension filled modulation before a big drop and romping third act ensues.

The second and final interpretation of ‘Leave’ is provided by N’Pot who is making his first appearance in the label. 2017 proved to be an excellent year for the Argentinean artist, showcasing his music on Balkan Connection, MNL, Northern Lights and One Of A Kind. Now adding Just Movement to his discography he begins the new year with a fine remix for the Dutch imprint. Groovy and percussive from the outset, it's a set of chord stabs which brings electric moments. The main melodies translate well as timely drops continue to build momentum before a short break resets the groove for a powerful finale. A stunning release from Just Moment to kick off 2018 and a sign of great things to come no doubt.
