Returning from a six-month hiatus, Just Movement welcomes Daniel Testas to the label for his debut single. With over three decades of production experience, Dutch producer Daniel Testas has more than carved out a place in electronic music history. From his early beginnings as a progressive house producer, to several side projects writing Drum and Bass, Deep House, Balearic House and more along the way, the Amsterdam resident eventually rediscovered his progressive roots with releases via Deep Down Music, MNL, Outta Limits, The Purr and more. Now continuing on that trajectory, Daniel makes his Just Movement debut with 'Being A Phoenix', alongside a remix from Not Demure.

Continuing to explore timeless progressive narratives, It is the melodic stylings of the original mix which get the release underway. Rhythmically charged, its smooth pulsating cadence, striking chord stabs and fiery percussive set the piece on a course for aural enlightenment. Fragmented vocals marry perfectly with misty melodies and hopeful overlays across the second act, perfectly setting up a finale of key changing basslines and emotive synth swagger.

Making his label debut with the lone interpretation of 'Being A Phoenix' is Not Demure. Born in Argentina and now based in Spain, Not Demure has made impressive strides since first emerging in 2017. In finding a perfect balance between progressive and organic house, the Mar del Plata native would receive support from world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Sebastien Leger, while also showcasing his music via -102C, Deepwibe Underground, Mango Alley, Movement, Univack and more. Now, adding Just Movement to his resume, Not Demure makes his label debut with a groovy take on 'Being A Phoenix'. Warm rebounding rhythms and chunky basslines set the course for snatches of fluttery melodies and colourful effects. A gorgeous audio collage from the Balearic Islands resident, and one which is explored further across a heartfelt break. A bed of key changing bass swells sets the foundation for deconstructed vocals and processed keys to melt away into a groove-centric drop and percussive finale.
