Hailing from Serbia, Vladimir Drndarevic, aka D.R.N.D.Y has been pushing his blend of house and techno since debuting in early 2014. Having built a reputable discography the Nis resident has notched releases on Agile Recordings, Glasgow Underground and Phobiq. Now making his much anticipated debut on Mirabilis Records, D.R.N.D.Y presents his debut single 'Tyrant' alongside a remix from Chris Cargo. D.R.N.D.Y's sound has always crossed genres incredibly well and so too does 'Tyrant'. From a warm, buzzing low end to a symphonic lead it's a unique and unabashedly epic seven minute journey. The drop is perhaps the most magical moment in the track, as it's strips down following a moderately tense break, allowing the character of the groove to breathe amidst a haze of sonic dust and elephant like stabs. The lone interpretation on the release finds Chris Cargo making his label debut. Since making a triumphant return to the progressive music spotlight less than two years ago, the Irish artist has notched releases on Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, Beat Boutique, Flow Vinyl, ICONYC, Soundteller Records and his own If You Wait imprint. Now making his much anticipated Mirabilis debut, Chris puts his own inimitable touch on 'Tyrant'. Deep, smooth and with that unmistakable chugging low end, Chris delivers what amounts to a twisted, dance floor minded dub. Aimed for peak time play, it's glowing atmospheres grow subtly before growling stabs and a supersonic arp converge for a euphoric final act.
