Beginning 2018 by remixing two of the industry's most revered talents in Nick Warren and Jerome Isma-Ae, Cid Inc now presents his first original project of the year. 'Abyss' is the hugely anticipated follow-up to the Finnish artist's chart topping progressive anthem 'Shifter'. A staple in the sets of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren all throughout 2017, it sat comfortably as one of the genre's best by year's end. “Fosc” is a track that arises from my fascination for Bugge Wesseltoft’s music. I really like his compositional work; the way he inserts darkness with flashing lights and bittersweet notes, Bugge is able to touch your heart and soul. I caught that inspiration but bringing it to my own ground, a more Techno sound. “Laberinto” is quite difficult to describe, it is a mishmash of influences in which everyone could perceive my sometimes passion for organic sounds. This cut was originally composed while improvising with the synthesizer and it is fully inspired by classic horror films. Both are very different from each other, at the same time are tracks that complement each other very well. There is an important balance between layering synths with more acoustic sounds.
