Bruno Andrada – Around Us [Dreamers]

Bruno Andrada debuts on Fernando Ferreyra's fast rising Dreamers imprint with 'Around Us'. Hailing from Salta, the Argentinean artist has found a home on Deersky's Soundteller Records with contributions to the label's 'Winter' and 'ADE' Samplers from last year. Now fresh off a remix for Julian Rodriguez's Massive Harmony Records, Bruno presents his debut EP for Dreamers.

Although still early in his career Bruno has become loved for his classic take on the progressive genre. More recently however he has been exploring deeper shades which continues here across the four selections. Beginning with the warm and radiant 'A Few Days' it's a heartfelt collection of music. Incredibly dreamy yet still engaging from a rhythmic perspective it provides not only wistful moments but foreshadows what's to come in 'Mino'. A touch meatier in the low end and more direct, it's not only a logical progression but the dreamy attributes of it's predecessor do shine during the main break. Clustered tones and atmospheric waves elevate your emotional response before a tasteful build adds just the right amount of tension prior to a lovely drop.

The EPs' Halfway point brings 'Leyends' which transitions the mood back into full daydream territory. A warm and groovy first act sets your senses on high, perfectly setting up a grandiose break. Almost cinematic in a nature, it's an unabashedly epic mood where you can almost see the credits roll. The drop releases the atmosphere in fine fashion allowing those gorgeous shades and tones to breathe again and what a joyous feeling it is. The release concludes with 'Kingdom of Heavens' which closes the EP out in an appropriately reflective manner. The feel good factor is high on this one with dulcet beats and exotic percussion getting layered with sheets of harmonic beauty. Gleaming keys and angelic vocal pads dominate what is a truly gorgeous break, before a moment silence brings a hearty drum fill and lovely conclusion. It caps off four gorgeous pieces of music from Bruno who will certainly be making a name for himself in the deep and dreamy house arena with this EP. A great signing for Fernando Ferreyra's Dreamers imprint who continues to deliver some of the most lovely melodic music around. Highly recommended.
