Releases Audioglider – More Willpower [Musique de Lune] By Release Promo Posted on 9th November 2022 7 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Presenting their third release of the year, Musique de Lune welcomes Audioglider to the label for his debut single. The UK artist has been a fixture of the progressive music underground since first arriving just over a decade ago. Regarded as one of the genre's more creative artists, the London resident often drifts outside the movement's traditional barriers, incorporating deeper, esoteric and even shoegaze elements in his music. Releases on Balance, ICONYC, Manual Music and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat beam brightly from his well kept discography, as he looks forward to 2022's fourth quarter. Now, adding Musique de Lune to his resume, Audioglider makes his much anticipated label debut with 'More willpower', alongside remixes from Greg Ochman and EANP. The original mix opens the release and finds that nice creative sweet spot between progressive and melodic house & techno. A dark pulsating low end along with some devilish electronics set the course for choir-like overlays and glowing arps to work their magic across the first act. Melting down into the main break, charming vocal gates give way to striking chord stabs, muscular breakbeats and a liquid-like acid line. This colourful amalgamation of sound provides an amazing balance of both dark and hopeful tones, eventually leading to a further vocal storyboarding and tasteful atmospheric refrains as the creation reaches a classy apex. Making his label debut and providing the first interpretation of 'More Willpower' is Great Ochman. Hailing from Poland, Greg first emerged in 2021 with a release via Sebastian Leger’s Lost Miracle. Comprised of three tracks, this organic offering would lead to future releases for Clubsonica, Kiksuya Records, Pattenbank, Radiant and Warung Recordings. Now approaching a two year creative swell and Greg is one of the more prolific and creative remixers in organic house. Here he takes the darker ethereal leanings of the Original and remodels them into a daytime dancefloor delight. The vocal gets utilized beautifully, playing out more predominantly over creamy strums, voluptuous bass tones and a sturdy framework which keeps attention firmly on the dance floor. The release concludes with EANP also making their label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'More Willpower'. Having worked together since 2014, it wasn’t until 2018 that Buenos Aires residents Ezequiel Anile and Nicolas Petracca decided to coin the EANP alias for their collaborative efforts. Now firmly established, the moniker has become synonymous with quality progressive music. Continued support from genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, along with key releases for Balance Music, Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers and Replug have made the Argentinean duo a much in-demand act. Continuing what has been a great year EANP dials in a powerful interpretation of 'More Willpower' here. In a pure progressive context the duo builds a groovy and emotional narrative around the acid line, while dubbing down the vocal elements in favour of glowing atmospheres and playful rhythmic sequences. Stellar stuff from EANP which caps off a very well rounded release for Musique de Lune, one which sees three label debutants touch on melodic house, organic and progressive minded trends.
