D-Formation’s Beatfreak Recordings rounds out a successful year with their ‘2018 Compilation’. Compiled by label boss D-Formation, this expansive collection reflects on what has been a memorable twelve months for the long standing Spanish imprint. Celebrating their 20th year in operation, the label has continued to lead the nu-progressive movement by showcasing the scenes most revered talent, while also giving a home to some of the underground’s most promising newcomers.

In a year that yielded 36 releases, the ‘Beatfreak Annual 2018’ collection features 56 tracks. An audio travelogue of sorts, showcasing the spirit of a label with it’s finger on pulse of all things progressive and melodic techno. Achieving both critical and commercial success across the calendar year, Beatfreak celebrated several Beatport chart triumphs, led by Bebetta, Betoko, Citizen Kain, Darin Epsilon, Dmitry Molosh, Haze-M, Lonya, Marc DePulse, Nick Muir, Rafael Cerato, Several Definitions, Stan Kolev, Teenage Mutants and the Beatfreak boss himself D-Formation.

Never content to rest on their laurels, Beatfreak continued to scour the globe for the freshest new sounds, welcoming Dizharmonia, Formel, Heerhorst, Kamilo Sanclemente & DeBeat, Klunsh, NekliFF, Oscar Vazquez, Pauke Schaumburg, Stas Drive, Tash & George Fil, Ziger and more to the label in 2018. It’s this cohesive blend of industry veterans and fresh faces that have made Beatfreak a premiere landing spot for the underground’s best talent. The collection showcases this wonderfully, taking you on a journey through some of years biggest anthems and hidden gems.
