The Serbian artist has risen up through the progressive underground at a rapid rate since first coming to our attention in 2016. Releases on Dear Deer, Eleatics Records, Manual Music and Timeless Moment, coupled with support from Solomun and Black Coffee have made him one of the most in demand artists of the moment. Now following a chart topping release on Atmosphere Records he unveils a brand new EP entitled ‘Esto Es Heaven’. The amalgamation of afro and progressive house has continued to be an inspired trend this year and Space Motion has been of the artists spearheading this movement. The lead track ‘Esto Es Tulum’ is a prime example of that with it’s warm, chugging low end, cross cultural vocal elements and a wealth of organic drums. The beauty lies in how well story-boarded the piece is, constantly evolving and with an effortlessly ease as it’s live feel just continues to grow before a bridge of vocal clusters seals what is a monumentally groovy finale. The companion piece ‘Lost In Heaven’ ups the tempo a touch with the sonic ethos of the EP staying nicely intact. Backed by a rolling groove, it’s layers of organic drums and siren-like motifs make for an energetic first act. It ultimately leads to the introduction of an African vocal motif and vibrant tonal cluster. Acting as the two primary themes they play off each other perfectly as timely drum fills and a well executed break delivers just the right amount of drama and tension.
