Musique de Lune opens the month of May by presenting new interpretations of 'You Make Me Feel' by Wassu. Based in the United States, Wassu has emerged from New York's avant-garde electronic music landscape, staking his claim as one of the counties premiere organic house talents. Noted for his attention to detail, voluptuous grooves and emotive musicality, Wassu's craft shines through vividly, making each one of his creations an absorbing experience. A meticulous discography showcasing a consistent stream of superlative releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, DAYS like NIGHTS and The Soundgarden, have been well-received, earning play and support from genre tastemakers Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Tim Green. Musique de Lune has also been a landing spot for Wassu, with 2025 being highlighted by his label debut 'Aerobic', a two-track showcase which received play from Above & Beyond via the duo’s popular Group Therapy radioshow, in addition to enjoying an extended stay in Beatport’s Organic House charts. Now, as the summer season approaches, the label invites Kasey Taylor, JFR and Lio Q to re-imagine the release's B-side offering 'You Make Me Feel' in their own essence.

Returning to the label for the first interpretation of 'You Make Me Feel' is Kasey Taylor. Based in Melbourne Australia, Kasey Taylor has firmly etched his place in the history of progressive music. A three-decade long career has yielded releases on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and his own long standing Vapour Recordings. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Kasey has travelled the world, playing events for Bedrock, Global Underground and Renaissance, while remaining a staple of Australia's premiere event, the world-renowned Rainbow Serpent Festival. A relationship with Musique de Lune was also established earlier this year, with a well received remix of 'Salamander' by Amháin & Covsky landing in February. Now, fresh off a Meanwhile collaboration with occasional studio partner Gai Barone, Kasey returns to Musique de Lune with a tranquil rendition of 'You Make Me Feel'. The Australian artist re-imagines the track with a deep underbelly of fluid basslines and rebounding rhythms, while an array of tasteful effects and deconstructed vocals prelude the main break, a one minute interlude which reveals a greater emotional slate through key changing swells and atmospheric refrains, resulting in a heartfelt finale.

Making a return to the label for the second remix of 'You Make Me Feel' is JFR. Hailing from Argentina, Juan Franco Rivero aka JFR has carved out a unique sonic identity in the world of progressive and organic house, resulting in a string of uniquely crafted records that present a resonant worldly sound. Releases via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Musique de Lune, and his own Secret Feelings imprint have been instrumental in showcasing the Mendoza resident's borderless approach to production, in turn garnering support from Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger and Nick Warren, amongst others. Also an accomplished DJ, JFR has travelled the world, performing alongside a wide assortment of international talents. Currently in the process of unveiling a string of unreleased projects which have been staples in his sets across recent years, JFR now returns to Musique de Lune, a label where he acts as manager and A&R, for a club-effective take on 'You Make Me Feel'. Flowing through effervescent arps and colourful vocal gates, the first act evolves with a smooth yet electric nature, making it ideal for peaktime play, while the main break adds just the right amount of tension for a tastefully restrained drop that is sure captivate even the most discerning of dancefloors.

The release concludes with Lio Q making his label debut with the third and final interpretation of 'You Make Me Feel'. Hailing from Argentina, Lio Q has been a fixture of the progressive house scene across the last decade. The Buenos Aires resident first rose to prominence with a string of early projects for Balkan Connection and Droid9, where he established a progressive style that made him a name to watch. Continuing to perfect his craft going forward, Lio would earn the support of genre tastemakers Armen Miran, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, in turn landing him releases via Clubsonica, Hoomidaas, Tale & Tane and The Soundgarden. With 2025 being highlighted by 'Horizons', a two-track showcase recorded alongside Andrea Cassino for Mayro's Traful imprint, Lio now adds Musique de Lune to his resume with a groovy take on 'You Make Me Feel'. Opting for a dubbier approach, Lio's rich design qualities, swaying rhythms and main break vocal manipulation make this ideal for a broad range of dancefloors, in turn rounding the release out on a cool note. Highly recommended.
