Hailing from Russia, St. Ego first came to our attention earlier this year with a release courtesy of Madloch's 3rd Avenue. Smooth and organic in equal measure, the three track offering caught the attention of organic house fans for its deep and musical approach. The following six months has seen St. Ego go on a creative swell, releasing five more projects for 3rd Avenue while also adding Bekool Records, Dreamers, Massive Harmony Records and more to his resume. St. Ego now adds Soundteller to his portfolio with a three track showcase entitled 'All Of Me'. Title track 'All Of Me' continues the laid back musical sound for which the Saint Petersburg resident has become known for. Soulful strums and delicate piano motifs marry exotic percussion arrangements and warm chunky grooves for a gorgeous nine minute journey. Emotion reaches a peak across the main break as reflective overlays blanket poignant chord changes while percussion reassembles onwards to a groovy finale. Meanwhile, selection two 'Freedom' continues the mid-tempo organic approach with more heartfelt musicalty. Fluttery drum arrangements and voluptuous bass lines set the course for impassioned motifs and hopeful atmospheres. Panoramic sequences add depth and texture across the primary interlude, before breaking off into a rush of clattering percussion and rolling rhythmic structures. The release concludes with 'Chocolate' bridging the gap between progressive and organic house. Although the tempo remains the same it's fuller low end and tighter core give it a pacier feel, while a similarly excellent array of youthful vocal overlays and soulful plucks converge for the most emotive moment on the release. A fitting conclusion to three charming tracks from St. Ego, an artist who continues to rise in the world of organic house just six months into his journey. Highly recommended.
