Hardy's 'Verum'. Originally released in April of this year as part of the 'Emotions' EP it found the Hungarian artist going deep and soulful, drifting away from some of his more progressive minded material into ADID territory. It foreshadowed much of what was to come from Robert and remains a special part of his discography. Now as the seasons shift we see Superordinate inviting Solid Stone and Nicholas Van Orton to reinvent the track. First up and making his debut on the label is Solid Stone who is best known for his gorgeous progressive creations courtesy of Max Graham's Cycles imprint and Tim Penner's Slideways Music. Here he up's the tempo a touch and adds considerable melodic charm. The production is warm, round and inviting as contoured walls of bass move through chord changes with detailed percussion and dulcet motifs adorning the framework. The break although relatively brief all things considered works incredibly well, adding a deeper emotion at the perfect moment, before transitioning into a more rhythmic third act which is pure class. Superb remix from Solid Stone. Closing the release out is BCSA label boss Nicholas Van Orton who brings his groovy style to the track in a big way. The deep, sultry vibe from the original translates well throughout and the Argentine's spacious production gives the mix a very large presence. One of the most distinctive things about Nicholas' work are his grooves; full, warm and immaculately carved they create a perfect bed for all the melodic elements to work their magic. That is certainly the case here as the whole flow of the track sounds effortless and with just the right amount of emotion for its sleek, laid back vibe.
