Re.You & Kadosh – Friendly Fire (Lehar Remix) [Frau Blau]

Some labels slowly develop their brand, taking years to build a steady fan base, and some like Frau Blau come along and make a huge statement from the first release, and somehow make every release bigger than the last.

Frau Blue is only up to its 8th release here, but is always a creating a buzz, with huge DJ support from the Worlds elite, and loved by clubbers of the dance-floors around the Globe.

The inevitably cool Re.You returns to the label, and collaborates with Frau Blau label boss Kadosh. The Berlin based Re.You has graced Cocoon, Mobilee and Souvenir, proving his esteemed status within the underground dance music scene. Kadosh is one of Tel Avivs biggest DJ's with his music gracing Innervisions, Watergate Records, Aeon and Upon.You. the musical meeting of these minds was always going to be something special.

The title track 'Not The Last Words' is a wonderful voyage. deep and hypnotic, laced with tripped out and infectious percussion, before th big subby bass adds further depth and mystique. As this track unfurls its magic, we meet the top line that encapsulates your mind, before returning to the deep groove.

Stepping up on remix duties we have 'Armonica', the talented duo formed by Andrea and Salvatore. With their music landing on MoBlack and Stil Vor Talent, these boys are hot property. Their interoperation adds energy, and creates a wonderful groove, laced with the original melodic and percussive elements, yet taking the vibe in a different direction.

The second original is 'Friendly Fire'. A punchy club workout, that will melt minds. Driving and infectious, this is a solid number that doesn't hold back!

Rounding off this package, the hugely talented Lehar delivers a fine remix. With releases on Diynamic, Compost Black, Connaisseur Endless and Watergate, he was the perfect choice for this reworking. keeping the energy from the original but bringing them to the afore, and adding a magical arp, and giving the bass a melodic movement - this will seriously catch your attention.
