The latest release from Clubsonica Records welcomes Partenaire to the label for his debut EP. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist has compiled an impressive resume since conceptualizing the project in 2015. Releases on 3rd Avenue, Auditen Music, ICONYC and Soundteller Records highlight his discography, while he routinely earns support from some of the world's leading DJs in Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Now following an EP for Proton's Particles, Partenaire lands on Clubsonica Records with 'Reve/Second Sunrise' alongside remixes from Armandhe and Dulcet.

Beginning with 'Reve' Partenaire explores the pure spectrum of progressive minded house. Its warm, buoyant groove is perfectly contoured, adorned with fiery percussion, acidic hooks and subtle shades and tones. A stunning modular drift highlights the main break, veering further into tripped out territory, before its atmospheric allure and a wave of noise pulls you back into a meditative state for a spellbinding finale. The companion piece 'Second Sunrise' moves closer to emotive territory with a tough, punchy groove, lively rhythms and waves of growling synths. Mysterious and mystical from the outset, the piece flows through melodic fragments and haunting atmospherics, before warm overlays entice the narrative as the main break commences. Evolving with a veteran's savvy, timely modulation delivers waves of tonal tension, while a backdrop of heartfelt melodies and hazy harmonics lies in stark contrast, before effortlessly shifting energy into a powerful finale.

The lone interpretation of 'Reve' is provided by Clubsonica artist Armandhe who returns to the label for his third appearance. The Colombian producer is fresh off his well received 'Inside the Music Box | While the Wolf's Away' EP which was released to considerable acclaim in February of this year. Now considered one of progressive music's master storytellers, Armandhe returns to his comfortable home of Clubsonica with an excellent interpretation of 'Reve'. Drawing on the rhythmic sensibilities of the original, the Colombian resident reshapes the groove into a rippling wave of momentous bass. It's this rolling cadence which sets the perfect foundation for layers of haunting atmopheres, acidic rhythms and two beautifully intertwined themes. Clocking in at nearly ten minutes, it's the melodic progression which is sure to capture the imagination of your dance floor, building with tonal waves across a hopeful interlude, before a flurry of drums sparks an exhilarating finale.

The release concludes with Dulcet returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Second Sunrise'. Hailing from Sligo, the Irish artist first appeared on the Colombian imprint in February of this year with a stunning rendition of Moveme's 'Traumtanz'. Also laying claim to releases on JOOF Recordings, the John OO Fleming favourite now returns to Clubsonica with a stellar take on 'Second Sunrise'. Taking a creative cue from the original the Irish artist carves out a rolling groove and smooth rhythmic core. Nostalgic in nature, it builds through a tantalizing melodic motif, before harmonic swells and a cinematic flair perfectly foreshadow a reflective finale. An inspired remix from the Dulcet which rounds out a welcome Clubsonica debut for Partenaire, an artist who continues delight progressive music fans with his timeless take on the genre.
