oØmiak – Irusu [Dynamica]

The debut release from Dynamica finds oØmiak launching the label with a new single entitled ‘Irusu’. Based out of Budapest, Dynamica is the brainchild of industry veteran Greyloop. Also working within the Stellar Fountain and Hydrogen camps, the Hungarian DJ now unveils his own imprint Dynamica.

For those unfamiliar with oØmiak it is a fresh new alias for Groven who has previously appeared on ICONYC, Lowbit Records and Yin:Yang. With a focus drifting closer to melodic techno his debut single ‘Irusu’ is a stunning nine minute journey. Filled with smooth hypnotic grooves and spaced out atmospheres it's definitely a creation to get lost in.

The first interpretation is provided by Riamiwo who many know from his appearances on Somatic Records and Traum. The German artist adds depth and character to the groove with rugged bass swells and a strong rhythmic core. Trippy electronics trail through the framework adding further mystery before ultimately peaking during a warped, spaced out finale.

The release concludes with Feemarx providing the final interpretation of 'Irusu'. The Brazilian artist and Not Another label boss puts his own unique twist on the track with a near ten minute excursion into deep, hypnotic techno. The low end is fabulous; wonderfully warped, complemented with electric stabs and grainy electronics before a tension filled break evolves into something utterly beautiful. Perhaps the standout moment on the EP and a great way to close a top notch first release for Dynamica. Definitely a new label to keep an eye on as 2018 moves forward.
