The Timeless Moment boss met Gaby while touring Asia last year. Also born and raised in Brazil, Gaby is half Japanese and lived in Hong Kong for a time where her well known Rewind events took electronic music to a new level. Upon meeting, Morttagua and Gaby formed an instant bond, eventually resulting in the duo's first collaborative effort entitled 'Urania'. The sonic gods got it right when the stars aligned for these two talents to cross paths. Gaby's cross-cultural influence combined with Morttagua's craftsmanship and melodic sensibility works quite well together on 'Urania'. Spiritual in design, the piece follows a haunting storyboard with Arabic vocals layered over a punchy groove and organic percussion. The main break proves particularly engaging, with a bevy of spine tingling moments before a short but timely build brings tension and a dynamic drop. Beautiful yet mysterious, this is one production which will stick with you for a long while. The lone interpretation of ''Urania' is provided by Danito and Athina who are making their first appearance on Movement Recordings. Hailing from Cologne, Germany Danny Wendt and Tina Charalampidis aka Danito and Athina have had an incredible year. The duo have compiled a meticulous discography, highlighted by releases on Crossfrontier Audio, Stil Vor Talent and Eklektisch. Now making their much anticipated Timeless Moment debut the German duo put their own unique twist on 'Urania'. The original themes are well conveyed with a beefed up groove adding depth while layers of textural drifts bring their own mystical charm. It's the main break and drop which bring the most magic though, wonderfully storyboarded with tribal infused drums and spiralling effects, ultimately leading to a devilish re-entry and very groovy finale. Another on the money remix from Danito and Athina which rounds out an excellent release for Timeless Moment. Don't miss it.
