Miraculum – All The Things I’ve Done [Balkan Connection]

Miraculum continues a strong 2019 with a new single for Balkan Connection entitled 'All The Things I've Done'. The Hungarian artist and Stellar Fountain boss has racked up a string of impressive releases since kicking the year off with a remix for Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic on Spring Tube. Subsequent releases on Clinique Recordings, Golden Wings Music and Massive Harmony Records have all shown a continued creative burst. Now returning to Balkan Connection, the Budapest resident presents a new single alongside remixes from Gaston Ponte and Stage Van H.

Long noted for interesting design characteristics, Miraculum creates a rich, character filled groove full of well sculpted hooks. What follows is a collage of warm atmospheres, astral effects and arpeggiated fragments. The standout element though is a melancholic lead which drops just after the 3 minute mark, with a unique time signature it adds a cool esoteric quality to the mix before a stripped second act takes you a step closer to dreamland.

Gaston Ponte continues to dominate the new school progressive landscape with a great remix here. The Argentinean artist brings Miraculum's imaginative ideas a step closer to the dance floor with a full, driving groove and rolling rhythms. Opting for a sleeker, more linear take on the main elements has resulted in a fluid rendition that's both highly hypnotic and a touch emotive, the latter of which is primarily during the main break and final act.

Rounding out the release is old school veteran Stage Van H who lands back on the label following a remix of Manu Gutierrez on Just Movement. The Greek artist crafts a full on version which is just a touch psychedelic. Acid like lines flow freely as wispy vocals drift across the framework. It's drive is quite infectious, perfectly setting up a section of hugely emotive chord changes, before segueing into a short break and energetic finale. A big remix from Stage which caps off a successful return to Balkan Connection for Miraculum. Highly recommended.
