Michael A – Emanation [Genesis Music]

Michael A returns to his Genesis Music imprint with a new single entitled 'Emanation'. With his most recent offering for the label 'Sub Station' still sitting in Beatport's progressive house charts and a long line of impressive projects to start the year, the Belarus artist looks set for a memorable 2021. Adding to his impressive resume is 'Emanation' which carries many of Michael's beloved hallmarks. From it's tight, compact groove to precise drum work and driving percussion, the framework is rock solid from the ground up. As the production begins to take shape it's melodic sensibility rises through fluttery concepts and timely overlays. The groove never gets lost here though, with the main break eventually being where Michael let's the atmosphere work it's magic, gently blanketing an underbelly of rolling drums onwards into a thrilling finale. A classy production from the Genesis boss once again and one which you should be hearing a lot in the coming months. Highly recommended.
