Matador – Luna [Rukus]

Matador continues his fine run of form in 2023 and is back once again on his RUKUS label with two more potent tech weapons.

This Irishman does it all from stripped back minimal to powerful main room sounds and so is one of the driving forces at the heart of the underground right now. He shows a new look here with two heartfelt and house leaning cuts.

Sol is a silky groove with textured synth leads and fresh drum grooves. Subtle vocals are stitched in and there is cosmic energy to the track that lures you in deep and keeps you there. Luna then takes a more late night approach with lush chords washing over you as the gentle percussion and soothing vocals heighten the mood. It's a tender sound perfect for the more intimate moments.

Once again here Matador serves up fine dance floor heat.
