On the success of early tracks such as ‘High Flyers’ and ‘Silence’, Kostya’s groovy melodic sound was born, making him a new breed of progressive house producers to watch going forward. A continued evolution in sound across the last three years has seen the Belarusian artist rise into one of the genre’s most in demand talents. World class DJs such as Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, D-Nox and more have been steadfast supporters along the way, while releases via Replug, Mango Alley, Proportion and Afterglow have been discography highlights. This week finds Kostya making his Musique de Lune debut with a remix of 'CO2' by Japanese trio OMB, Ogawa and Haruo Chikada. To celebrate the release of his 'CO2' Remix, Kostya has curated ten tracks to gear up for the Mango Alley x Manual ADE Closing Party, where he will perform on October 20th alongside Rauschhaus, Paul Hazendonk, Ruben Karapetyan, Around Us, Supacooks, The Wash, Weird Sounding Dude, Note Demure, Hobin Rude and others. Enjoy!! Not Demure - Waving But Drowning (Montw Remix) [Mango Alley] One of my favorite recent tracks released via Mango Alley is a deep and smooth remix by Montw on ‘Waving But Drowning’ by Not Demure. Perfect for the beginning of the DJ set as well as for that moment when it’s time to go deeper. Carefully combined sounds, deep atmosphere and well-crafted arrangement makes this track must have for this gig. Ogawa, OMB, Haruo Chikada - CO2 (Kostya Outta Remix) [Musique de Lune] My new remix for collaboration of Japan legend DJ Ogawa with OMB and Haruo Chikada. The remix was made during the summertime, and here you can hear the influence of sunny days and good weather that we all enjoy several months a year. Together with a massive bassline, this sound gives an opportunity to play this track at many places at the time when you’d like to turn the mood in a positive way. Super happy to take a part in this release! Satoshi Tomiie feat. Kelli Ali - Love in traffic (Sistersweet Unofficial Remix) With this remix Sistersweet provided a new life on progressive danceflores for the legendary classic ’Love in traffic’ by Satoshi Tomiie feat. Kelli Ali. Brilliant groove line and memorable vocals makes this track suitable for a wide range of events and audiences. And I really love tracks like this, because they help to attract more attention of club people to progressive house music and helps to make their first steps on the way of understanding new facets of sound. Highly recommended for clubs and festivals. Kostya Outta & Kamilo Sanclemente - Starlight (Callecat Remix) [Mango Alley] Utrecht-based duo Callecat made a very club-friendly version of my summer collab with Kamilo Sanclemente. Super happy to meet these awesome guys before my gig in Amsterdam this June. Groovy bassline and excellent finish of the breakdown instantly conjures an image in my mind where the crowd starts dancing with their hands up. If the party is not going too much hard, you can be sure this one will work definitely good! Ivan Aliaga - Relax the Retro [UV] A very impressive experiment from one of my favorite artists from the Argentinean scene Ivan Aliaga deserves a special place in the track library. If you want to bring something really new to your DJ set still staying the true adherent of Progressive House music, this unique track is for you. Perfectly combined ideas and unexpected twists during the track will give a chance to look at the music from a new angle taking all attention of the crowd. Jares - Dystopia (Dmitry Molosh Remix) [Balkan Connection] Brand new remix by progressive house legend and my big friend Dmitry Molosh, who delivers top level sound every time. And this masterpiece is no exception. Classic progressive rhythm with a powerful leads make this track peak time friendly for any event. And what I especially love in this track that it makes a really good mood on the dancefloor, bringing bright emotions to the crowd during the main part of the party, when it should be played. Michael A - Higher [Genesis Music] The next masterpiece coming from Michael A, that can really bring you higher, together with the crowd making a bit darker but still very soft and deep atmosphere on the dancefloor. Outstanding groove with rhythmic elements and sound effects along with descending sounds of the main synth will make the right atmosphere at the party and will help you win the public's favor. Max Graham & Second Sine - Hypercube [Mango Alley] This fabulous collab of Max Graham & Second Sine is what I call timeless music. The sound of this track reminds me the time when I started to really fall in love with electronic music and I thought that time is already past, but this track brings that feeling back and make them much brighter than before, because of modern sound which is fully in line with current trends. So happy to have this one in my library today. Roger Martinez - Maya [Higher States] When it’s time to add some beauty to your DJ set still keeping the atmosphere at the peak, ‘Maya’ by Roger Martinez will help you to do this in the right way. This solid bassline with perfectly hidden low-mid elements creates a super cool groove and alongside with the rich sounding arps will bring you really high. One of the most often-played track in my library for the last summer. Works really good every time. Highly recommend! D'Wachman - We Will Never Forget That Never Happened (Stereo Underground Remix) [Manual Music] This powerful remix from Stereo Underground will help you to finish or continue your DJ set on the high energy. Well balanced mix with a strong bassline, bright arpeggiator and a clear sound of the drum section makes it sound really good for the peak time. A really beautiful soul-touching breakdown and an epic exit from it will definitely make this part of your DJ set memorable. 'CO2' is available now via Musique de Lune: https://tinyurl.com/28c2de4v
