Kamilo Sanclemente – Without You [MNL]

Red hot Kamilo Sanclemente makes his debut on Paul Hazendonk's MNL this week with 'Without You'. The Colombian producer has been one of the fastest rising progressive house artists of 2017. Countless Beatport chart hits and a carefully chosen release schedule has made him one of the genre's most in demand talents. He now makes another impressive step this week with a brand new EP courtesy of Manual Music affiliate MNL.

Known for his pristinely produced, club friendly sound Kamilo has found a place in the sets of some of the world's biggest DJs, namely Hernan Cattaneo. The lead track 'Without You' once again sounds tailor made for the storied DJ, with its soulful melodies and sultry, laid back groove. Serene synths and a gorgeous sequence of bass tones add a refined elegance that you rarely in progressive house these days, likely making it one of Kamilo's most mature works to date.

The release concludes with the equally excellent 'The Girl With The Glass Smile'. A slightly dreamier approach makes it a great complement to 'Without You' and it's reflective qualities can't be overstated. Everything from drifting vocal elements to dulcet tones and misty atmospheres paint an emotive picture which closes the release out beautifully. Kamilo has definitely been one of this year's most pleasant surprises and this EP adds nicely to his impeccable discography. Don't miss it.
