The mighty East Cafe returns to Deersky's Soundteller Records this week with a new single entitled 'Aviophobia'. The much loved Hungarian artist last appeared on the Polish imprint in August of last year with a remix of 'Insidious' by Marcelo Paladini. Now returning for his first ever single for the label East Cafe unveils his latest studio creation alongside remixes from Micrologue and Robert R. Hardy.

Hungary has no doubt become a Mecca for progressive house and East Cafe is one of it's scene's most revered talents. Now a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo the Hungarian artist delivers another massive track in 'Aviophobia'. When you hear people speak about the genre in it's pure sense this track is exactly what they're talking about. Warm, rolling grooves combined with strong rhythmic drive and heartfelt melodies make for a joyous seven minute journey. Unabashedly epic the main break delivers goosebump worthy moments with gorgeous synth swells and a jangly melodic complement, capping off what is a monster track from East Cafe.

Both remixes do differ nicely from the original which makes for a really well rounded release. Since delivering his firs remix for the label in July of 2013 Micrologue seems to have found a comfortable home on Soundteller. Now returning for his fourth remix in as many years the German artist brings a traditional melodic techno approach to the track. The production is pristine as you would expect and the melodic elements translate very well. The key thing here is the emotion of the original is not lost which might often be the case in a mix of this ultra polished style. it just travels on a different plane if you will and very effectively at that. Great remix from Micrologue.

It's always nice to see two top talents from the same country coming together and that's exactly how the release ends with Robert R. Hardy on the final remix. Another dominate force from Hungary's progressive house underground, Robert has earned praise from the scene's key players, namely Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Cid Inc. Aptly coined 'Above the Clouds' Robert takes the track into deeper and dreamier territory as muted tones and charming soundscapes quickly steal your heart. There's a bit of an 'end of the night' type feel here, certainly very reflective in nature and perhaps one of Robert's most emotive creations to date. An amazing way to round out one of Soundteller's best releases this year. Highly Recommended.
