Releases Creative Machine – One World [Onestar Records] By Release Promo Posted on 12th March 2020 5 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin The latest release from Onestar Records welcomes Creative Machine to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Bogota, the Colombian artist first appeared on the progressive music scene in 2017 with a string of releases on Underground Savant. 2019 then yielded several successes with a contribution to Clubsonica's 'MMW 2019 Sampler' and releases on Antrim's Strangers Beats imprint being the most notable. Now following a contribution to Soundteller's Vibrant Vibeland #9 to begin 2020, Creative Machine debuts on Onestar with 'One World'. The title selection kicks off the release with a nostalgic yet powerful progressive mood. Rolling grooves, crunchy rhythms, and grainy overlays make for an electric beginning, before buzzing arps elevate mood leading into the break. Coming to full fruition, effervescent modulation and esoteric chord changes advance the narrative for tense yet surreal moments, as the groove drops for a driving finale. ‘Lotus’ rounds the release out and finds Creative Machine crafting a hypnotic groover. Built around a chugging foundation it’s a series of captivating arps which eventually grabs a hold of you. Smooth yet buoyant, it blends what is a nostalgic style groove with meditative elements. The main break furthers the intrigue through timely modulation and icy pads, before smoothly seguing into a purring third movement. Two fresh and inspired cuts from Creative Machine who looks set to enjoy his best year to date. Highly recommended.
