Following a stunning release from Kay-D, Soul Art Recordings returns with a an amazing single from Cream & Deep Fog to round out the summer season. The Polish duo are fresh off an amazing EP for Francesco Pico's resurgent Magnitude Recordings and also own 2018 releases on Proton Music and Balkan Connection. Now making their much anticipated debut on SoulArt, Cream & Deep Fog present their latest single ‘Moon’ alongside remixes from Gaston Ponte, Pacco & Rudy B and Christopher Erre.

There’s always been a spiritual vibe about Cream & Deep Fog’s productions. A transcendent sound which takes you to an otherworldly place and ‘Moon’ does exactly that. It’s dreamy storyboard is both poignant and dramatic, making it nicely suited to a variety of points in an evening's entertainment. It’s near ten minute running time almost seems to short as you just want to get eternally lost in the track’s bubbly textures, frayed percussion and bassy rumblings. Definitely one to change the atmosphere of a room for the better.

The remixes add some nice variety to the release with Gaston Ponte being first up. The Argentinean artist adds a bit more toughness to the track with a meatier framework and catchy rhythms, all while keeping the astral feeling of the original nicely intact. The build out of the break is especially noteworthy, complete with a short, classic roll and trippy payoff which is sure to please your dance floor. Next up are progressive scene veterans Pacco & Rudy B who are making their label debut. The Croatian duo and Mallam label bosses work their magic yet again with a mix that embodies the pure progressive spirit. Complete with a warm rolling groove, layers of organic drums and a spaced out break it’s a mix primed for peak time play. Pacco and Rudy seem to have this knack of teasing just enough emotion into their work to elicit an amazing response without it ever being overblown and that’s exactly what they’ve achieved here. The release concludes with Christopher Erre returning to the label for his second appearance. The Canadian born, Argentina based artist goes a touch deeper which complements the previous versions wonderfully. The tempo comes down and the groove opens up for a swing heavy journey that relies on a strong cadence and delicate melodic themes to deliver a powerful message across it’s eight and a half minute journey. A great version to round out a well put together release from SoulArt recordings once again.
