Sweden’s Bambook deliver their new EP entitled, ‘Give it up’ via Faceless Recordings this June, featuring remixes from Audiofly, Quina, and Cali Lanauze & Flavio Acaron. Since 2011, Bambook have been pushing their signature sound to the forefront of the house scene through releases on Culprit and Noir music, here following the release of the original release of ‘Give It Up’ on Faceless Recordings back in 2014, Bambook provide a newer interpretation of the track with remixes from label mates. The EP begins with Bambook’s new interpretation of ‘Give It Up’, incorporating a pulsating kick drum and a heady synth line, accompanied by murky vocal murmurs. Drifting synths lay at the forefront of highly respected DJ’s and producers Audiofly’s remix as they meander through organic percussions and a twisted warped bass line. Quina’s abstract rework of ‘Give It Up’ follows and is filled with resonant bleeps and glistening chords, which are then met with a m

The final act unfolds. Chapter 24 serves up a powerful 13 track album that finds a wealth of originals from Masaya’s debut, Picking Up The Pieces, getting the Editions treatment by top artists including Ripperton, Petar Dundov, Patrice Baumel, Johannes Brecht and many more. They make for essential listening. First out of the bag, Kurt Baggaley flips Walking Dad into a deep spine tingling number that will infuse and fill the dance floor with warmth and soul. Love over Entropy’s take on Haumea is deep but more driving, with slick synth modulations colouring the grooves, then Swiss master Ripperton builds lots of tension with his brooding techno remix of Flow of Tears. As well as a starry and cosmic Edition from Nhar, a tense and edgy take from Neil Flynn and a melodically excellent variation from Croatian Petar Dundov, the album includes a slow and haunting rework from David Durango and a skittish, broken beat kicker from Patlac. The final third of the collection hones in o

Italian producer Veerus returns to Kittball with a moody three track release titled ‘Organum’ this June. A regular name within Kittball’s established discography, alongside his partner Maxie Devine, Veerus has released two full EPs on the label as well as appeared on two instalments of Kittball Konspiracy. His wide remit of work has also seen numerous releases on the likes of Suara, Material, Yoshitoshi Recordings and Stereo Productions, whilst as a touring artist he’s commanded crowds from booths throughout Ibiza, Miami, Barcelona and Verona. ‘Organum’ sees Veerus move towards a darker direction, combining moody stabs with ominous atmospherics for a dusky roller produced with the dancefloor in mind. Maintaining a euphoric aura throughout, ‘Arp’ earns its names from its raucous arpeggios that generate a heightening suspense whilst subtle notes operate in the background, before ‘Mummy’ concludes the package with tantalising melodies and powerful synths. ►

Borne out of industrial landscapes and urban vitality, German techno innovation collides with inspired audio engineering; Oovation travels the "Solar" winds to bright lights and city backdrops. Dominant beat and metallic rhythms create an atmosphere full of portents, twisted and distorted sounds pierce the sonic spectrum with their angular saw waves. Crystalline edged sequences tumble and fall in random patterns as a rare intensity fills the airwaves, demanding attention and acquiescence to an unforgiving character. Belarusian proficiency creates bold new meaning; Michael A, blessed with technique, skill and diversity, builds a pulsating, brooding work. White noise washes rush across the stereo sound stage; a train flashes through a tunnel as a wall of sound envelopes all, joining forces with background noise. A crescendo of stunning architecture builds through an aural montage of industrial sounds juxtaposed against bass line warmth of sun-kissed skies at dusk, spine-tingling beau

With his music gracing such revered labels as Steyeyoke, Sincopat and Definition, this talented producer has been turning heads for a decade, and now lands with two gems on Nick Warrens ever reliably cool Soundgadren imprint. Kicking off musically with 'Butterfly, this wonderfully infectiously warm gem encapsulates you from the off, as its glow and aura ooze out the good stuff! A subtly building structure layers itself with pads, arps and a hypnotic groove, locking you in to its dreamlike soundscape. Hints of wobbliness with cool fx, and a gritty deft touch on the bass add texture as the tension builds. A top lead really lifts this track, and will no doubt cause a big fuss this summer and beyond. The second track 'Nights Of Tel Aviv' takes us deeper, and captures the mystical Israeli capital cities vibe, as a swaggeringly cool magic voyage takes you on its journey, before the uplifting breakdown breathes through a was of melody with a hint of melancholy. A serious dance floor ge

Next up on the Mexican imprint Tenampa, is the debut of French man: Nhar. Coming from the flourishing Techno scene, Nhar has developed a personal universe on the fringes of Techno and Minimal House, on labels such as Mobilee, Correspondant, My Favorite Robot, Chapter 24 & MicroCastle. Kicking things off is Unkindled, a slightly acid-edged workout that builds with techy beats, a cool groove and effected vocals that add more depth whilst retaining a punchy feel. All held together by a tight production, and the emphasis of keeping it simple, yet not minimal. On Remix duties are the hypnotic sounds of Dubspeeka. An artist we don't know much about, other than he’s from Bristol and has amazing releases on Drumcode, Last Night on Earth and Get Physical. Dubspeeka takes matters seriously with a deep techno, acidic dose of goodness.Doesn’t do much but that’s the whole foundation of Dubspeeka’s sound. Deep, solid & raw! Closing the package is Praise The Sun. Nhar’s
