Bynomic – They Are Coming Back [Another Life Music]

Another Life Music continues a strong summer season with a new single from label boss Bynomic. Moving forward from an impressive 2019, the Swiss artist has continued to impress across the first half of 2020. Releases on 3rd Avenue and Soundteller Records sit as discography highlights, as the Zurich resident continues to carve out intriguing creations. Now as we reach the heart of quarter three, Bynomic returns to his comfortable home of Another Life with 'They Are Coming back' alongside remixes from Echo Babylon and Tenerfuse.

Beginning with the Original Mix Bynomic moves into the darker regions of progressive house. It's an area he operates in with both creativity and precision. Setting the foundation for the journey is a punchy groove, electric rhythms and buzzing stabs. Both foreboding and mysterious, it’s flair for the dramatic grows as crunchy arps, buoyant percussion and ghostly vocal wails lead to an expansive break. Enticing your mind further, the narrative then shifts into astral territory, as wavy arps rise against a backdrop of glowing atmospheres before a rush of beats cues an epic finale.

The first interpretation of 'They Are Coming Back' is provided by Echo Babylon who return to the label for their fourth appearance. Hailing from the UK, Kim Lagusz and Laurie Judd make up the Echo Babylon duo. First appearing in August of 2016 the partnership blossomed over the an impressive four year stretch with releases on 3rd Avenue, Capital Heaven, Massive Harmony and Soundteller Records. 2020 has seen the duo become an integral part of Another Life with well received remixes for the label in both March and June. Now fresh off a contribution to Modern Architect's 'Cusp' collection, the duo return to Another Life with a retro rendition of 'They Are Coming Back'. Aptly titled 'Dark Disco' Mix the duo craft a foundation of tight beats and disco infused rhythms. Smooth yet powerful, it acts as the perfect foundation for an array of acidic artifacts and vocal fragments. The main break showcases a reprocessed take on the lead theme; less distinct and wondrously hypnotic, it sets the course for chugging final movement.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of 'They Are Coming Back' is Tenerfuse. Based in New York, the US producer made his Another Life debut in May of this year with 'Perseidian Dawn'. Well received, the release followed a string of outings for AH Digital which jump started his career across 2019, before previously recording under his given name of Chris Forsyth. With a summer EP out via Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistique Music, Tenerfuse now returns to Another Life with a strong remix of 'They Are Coming Back'. Anchored by a warm, chugging groove, the US artist’s finely tuned percussion and pulsating rhythms quickly appease the senses. Dramatic and cosmic in equal measure, buzzing atmospheres and a spaced out arp play off each other beautifully leading into the main break. Cavernous in design, it's cinematic soundscapes create a surreal vibe, as a flickering arps and clustered drums unite for a powerful crescendo and heads down finale. Definitely one for a peak time dance floor, it's thunderous drive caps off another must have release from Bynomic's Another Life Music. Don't miss it.
