Presenting their second release of the year, Brisbeats presents a new single from label boss Brisboys. Hailing from Ireland, John Manning aka Brisboys has been a fixture of the progressive house underground for the better part of three decades. As a DJ first, John found his place amongst Northern Ireland's burgeoning nightlife, holding down residences, both radio and club, dating all the way back to the late nineties. After a chance meeting with fellow countryman Ciaran Duffy (RIP) in Australia in 2008, the duo formed the Brisboys alias, going on to release projects for Frequenza, Krafted Digital, One Of A Kind and the infamous Rising High. A four-year hiatus to focus on the Bemannte & Bruder alias shelved the Brisboys moniker until earlier last year, a time when John took the reins in solo capacity and subsequently rebooted his Brisbeats Records imprint to showcase his new solo productions. Now three releases into the label's resurgence, Brisboys returns with the much-anticipated 'Third Earth', alongside remixes from Federico Monachesi and Rockka.

Beginning with the Original Mix, Brisboys showcases a nostalgic approach which sets the tone for the release. Full of charming atmospheres, the Irish veteran blends warm kick drums and rolling grooves, with charged rhythms and poignant melodies, for a captivating path into the break. Further revealing his creative attitude across the interlude, it’s a full melodic lead which emerges to fully saturate the pleasure center's, before getting washed away in a rush of beats for a euphoric finale.

Making his label debut with the first interpretation of 'Third Earth' is Federico Monachesi. With a career that spans the better part of two decades, Argentinean artist Federico Monachesi has firmly etched his place within his country's progressive house history. The Tucuman resident lays claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases via Melody of the Soul, Musique de Lune, Or Two Strangers and Sendas, in turn earning him the support of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and Nick Muir. With 2025 being highlighted by an impressive Melody Of the Soul debut alongside fellow countryman Nicolas Viana, Federico now adds Brisbeats to his resume with a huge remix of 'Third Earth'. Taking more of a groove oriented approach, the Argentine toughens up the framework with tighter kick drums, vibrant chord stabs and driving percussion. Hypnotic and energetic in equal measure, the main melodic theme is teased throughout the first act and main break, but only in understated fashion, making this ideal for a modern dancefloor.

The release concludes with Rockka also making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of 'Third Earth'. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Rockka aka Lakith Adikaram has been releasing his own unique style of progressive music for the better part of three years. Making his mark through a series of Mango Alley releases featuring deep and atmospheric grooves, Rockka demonstrated his mastery, paving the way for a notable ascent early is his career. Although younger than most of his contemporaries, the Nugegoda resident impressed going forward, quickly landing projects with Clubsonica, SLC-6 Music and Yomo Records, amongst others. This year has seen Rockka continue to be prolific with a string of excellent original and remix productions, with perhaps the most notable being 'Maximizer' his latest Mango Alley vehicle. Brisboys is now the latest artist to receive the Rockka remix touch and he's done so in dramatic fashion. Staying true to the themes from the original version, the Sri Lankan puts his own unique stamp on the track with his signature squelchy synth stabs and tougher framework, making for traits which balance the main melodic theme perfectly, before a buzzing finale ensues adding depth and character to round out the release on a huge note. Highly recommended.
