Antrim ft. Abi Ferraresi – Seek the Sun [Or Two Strangers]

Presenting their first release of the year, Or Two Strangers welcomes Antrim back to the label for a new EP. The Argentinean artist and Or Two Strangers boss is coming off another exceptional year in 2021. The Cordoba resident racked up an impressive string of releases for Beat Boutique, Clubsonica, onedotsixtwo, Plattenbank and Vapour. Highlighting the year however was the release of ‘Beat2Be’, Antrim’s debut album which came courtesy of Sudbeat Music and featured sought after collaborations with Analog Jungs, Ezequiel Arias, Marcelo Vasami, Nicolas Rada and more. Also busy on the touring front, an extended stay in Mexico saw the Argentine play alongside electronic music legends Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now firmly sitting in progressive music’s elite class of producers, Antrim begins the year returning to his comfortable home of Or Two Strangers with ‘Seek the Sun’.

Beginning with the title selection, Antrim collaborates with Argentinean vocalist Abi Ferraresi. Together the duo craft an emotive slice of progressive house that arrives in good time for the impending summer season. Antrim’s warm key changing grooves, timeless tonal themes and lively percussive arrangements set the perfect foundation for Abi’s memorable hooks to work their magic. She injects the piece with authentic soul and emotion, as Antrim’s warm grooves and subtle musicality provide the perfect dance floor vehicle to deliver the tracks transcendent message.

The companion piece ‘Delusion’ finds Antrim flexing his free-thinking muscles with a production that is equal parts haunting and emotive. Deep and fluid throughout, the Argentine’s sleek designs are mysterious yet hopeful, tactfully merging for a poignant end of the night groover. Antrim’s instinctive ability to tip a dancefloor over the edge is reaffirmed, as ghostly vocal wails steal the air, while percolating arps and balmy overlays make for a colourful end to this sweeping audio adventure.

Operating at the peak of his powers, Antrim continues to impress with ‘Seek the Sun’. A two-track showcase which sets the course for what promises to be another stellar year for the Or Two Strangers boss.
