Releases Andre Moret – Endless Line [Musique de Lune] By Release Promo Posted on 10th June 2024 7 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Musique de Lune opens the summer season by welcoming Andre Moret back to the label for a new single. As one of Brazil's most highly regarded progressive house artists, Andre has achieved many successes across his six year career. World class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been regular supporters, while his inimitable productions have found a home on Clubsonica, Mango Alley, Plattenbank and The Soundgarden, amongst others. Musique de Lune has also been a landing spot for Andre, with his label debut coming in 2022 with a contribution to the 'Rayons De Lune' collection, a release which served as the imprint's inaugural offering. Now returning for his first single, Andre unveils his latest studio creation 'Endless Line', alongside remixes from Andres Moris and Foletto & Victor Arruda. Like many artists who began in the progressive spectrum Andre has found success incorporating organic elements into his productions, something we have seen from him of late. However, 'Endless Line' falls much closer to the former with it's crunchy array of effects, buzzing synth lines and driving grooves. Although tense at points, it's a hopeful atmospheric top line which ultimately supplies an ample amount of depth, space and emotion leading into the break. Here, the poignant phrasing not only continues, but progresses to greater levels for a gorgeous, almost cinematic moment, before effervescent modulation ensues, sparking a finale that twists and turns through fiery synth mutations and clattering percussive arrangements. One of progressive music's brightest hopefuls Andres Moris provides the first remix following an epic rendition of '1999' by Cloaked, released just last week via Juicebox Music. Some of Andres' recent work has been getting played by Guy J and it's not hard to see why. The Cordoba resident always seems to create something that knows exactly when to either push or lay off the gas, a true sign of a producer coming into his own. For his 'Endless Line' interpretation Andres expands on the emotional aspect of the Original with a deeper, more eloquent rendition that uses plush chords, cascading keys and a balmy atmospheric disposition that is positively glowing. Rounding out the release is Foletto & Victor Arruda who are making their label debut. The Brazilian duo have enjoyed success in their respective solo careers, racking up impressive resumes through releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton, Stripped and Warung, amongst others; while world class DJs Armen Miran, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have all been supporters along the way. Now, in what is a first time collaboration, Foletto & Victor Arruda combine their extensive forces for a rousing rendition of 'Endless Line'. Opting for more of a groove-centric approach, the duo aims squarely at the dancefloor here, with vibrant kick-drums, distinctive chord stabs and timely pianos creating a journey which is uniquely rhythmic and emotive to round out the release in style.
