SLC-6 Music celebrates their one hundredth release with a new single from label boss D.J. MacIntyre and G.O.D.A. Hailing from California, D.J. MacIntyre has been a beloved figure within the American electronic music scene for the better part of a decade. Oftentimes finding the creative space between progressive house and melodic techno, D.J. MacIntyre has taken his cross-genre sound to some of the underground's trendiest imprints, most notably Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Droid9, SkyTop, Clubsonica, and Freegrant. Also well travelled as a DJ, the Santa Barbara resident has appeared at some of the world's most prestigious events, most notably Burning Man and ADE, while also showcasing his borderless programming skills in Moscow, Malta, Sri Lanka, and all across the United States. Meanwhile, previously known as Goda Brother, G.O.D.A. has been a mainstay in the progressive house scene since first appearing in 2015 with releases via OLD SQL Recordings and Revelation. The Egyptians' trippy yet club friendly sound quickly won over the genre's tastemakers, and now nine years on, the Alexandria resident lays claim to an impressive resume highlighted by projects for Panda Lab and Sol Selectas. Having previously appeared on SLC-6 with a well-received remix of 'Magellanic Clouds' by KAZKO, G.O.D.A now returns to the label, pairing with D.J. MacIntyre to commemorate the one hundredth release with 'Osiris', alongside remixes from Rick Pier O'Neil and Luciano Capomassi & Ramiro Alvarez.

The original mix lands with a resounding thump, bringing the best production hallmarks of both artists, as they craft an electric slice of progressive house. Club-effective and energetic in equal measure, the duo's tight kick drums and galloping bass lines set the foundation for anthemic stabs to set a lively mainroom vibe, before a melodic break resets the mood for a finale that is big, bold and emotive. Returning to the label for the first interpretation of 'Osiris' is Rick Pier O'Neil. Famed for releases via Beatfreak, JOOF and Outta Limits; the French born, Mexico-based artist opts for a techier approach, one which takes square aim at the darker dance floors with machine gun grooves, phasing sonics and an ethereal sounding break that is sure to create some memorable club moments across the impending summer season. The release concludes with Luciano Capomassi & Ramiro Alvarez providing the final interpretation of 'Osiris'. The Argentinean duo have been frequent studio partners of late, with a successful outing for Paul Thomas' UV imprint being the most recent. Continuing to build on their creative synergy for SLC-6, Luciano and Ramiro cap the release off with a deeper, more emotive take on the track, complete with heartfelt chord changes and a trance-inspired break to send people home with a smile.
